Noget Om Helte is a song that has always been close to my heart. When I was a kid I got to know this song by playing as opposed to hearing someone else interpret it and I think that has given me a strong personal relation with it. Halfdan Rasmussen's beautiful lyrics on Robert Normann's ditto melody have found a permanent place in my musical vocabulary - it feels like it has just always been there.
Thanks to my brother with the greasy lens for helping me capture this on a very hot day in the studio.
