The Heart of England CRP wanted to build on the excitement of Railway 200 (an anniversary celebrating 200 years of the modern railway) and create a lasting legacy for local rail heritage. We felt that Leamington Spa with it Grade 2 Listed building status, rich railway history and space for some art work made it the perfect location.
Together with local artist KatieOArt and our funders Chiltern Railway we have documented the mural project whilst celebrating Leamington Spa as a cultural destination.
