Welcome to Mystic Rest Stop, where I took a night shift job thinking it would be quiet, boring, and easy.
It was NOT.
Between serving unsettling customers, restarting broken generators, checking security cameras, and trying to survive the night, things quickly spiral out of control. And then… she shows up. An old lady who insists I go outside and help her with her car.
Bad idea. Very bad idea.
From that moment on, the rest stop feels wrong. The cameras don’t help, the nights get creepier, and somehow she follows me — all the way to the bathroom. Yes. I have never wanted to clock out faster.
