Ingredients
2 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups milk
2/3 cup shortening
3 drops cotton candy flavour
2 tsp vanilla
3 eggs

300 grams flour
300 grams white sugar
14 grams baking powder
6 grams salt
296 ml milk
127 grams shortening
3 drops cotton candy flavour
10 ml vanilla
3 eggs

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350*F
2. Generously grease bottom and sides of 2 9” cake pans…flouring the sides
3. In large bowl combine flour, sugar, b.p and salt.
4. Add in the shortening and milk. Beat for 2 minutes at a medium speed, until moistened.
5. Add vanilla, cotton candy flavouring and eggs, beat for 2 more minutes.
6. Divide batter into 3 bowls… color one pink, one blue, one purple.
7. Pour batter into prepared pans, swirling colours together.
8. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes before taking out of pans
