Kamryn is a Sanctuary youth apprentice for the 2025 season, and she shares that she “feels very at peace” whenever she steps into the garden. Her energy, care, and presence uplift both the land and everyone around her. Kamryn is hardworking, enthusiastic, and deeply collaborative—bringing a sense of curiosity and safety to the space she helps steward.
Since the start of our Youth Apprentice Program, The Sanctuary has trained 18 youth, offering hands-on experience cultivating herbs, flowers, and organic products shared freely with the community, while planting pollinator gardens and helping maintain and beautify Crystal Lake. Kamryn is a strong contributor to this work, nurturing the health of the garden and creating a welcoming and loved space for all.
