Rd 2 of the Welsh Super Series hosted by Dragon Tri Club.
The Seafront fair ground to be the back drop of the start of the Porthcawl Triathlon. Where athletes were challenged by both the course and the weather.
30mph gust and rain, lead to a shortened swim due to safety concerns from British Tri.
24 mile bike course around the undulating hills of Bridgend County.
Then on to a 6.2mile run along the beach promenade, in one direction a complete wall of wind pushing against you.
