ED raids Jalandhar-based real-estate businessman linked to Sanjeev Arora case

Описание: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted a raid at the residence of Jalandhar-based real-estate businessman Chandra Shekhar Aggarwal in GTP Nagar on Friday morning and he is said to be a close associate of Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora.
The action is believed to be linked to an ongoing investigation into an alleged land fraud and money laundering case that came to light in 2024 and ED officials along with police personnel are currently examining documents at the premises and entry has been restricted. The agency also carried out searches at the residences and business premises of Arora’s other associates, including his business partner Hemanth Sood in Ludhiana.
No detailed official statement has been issued yet and the investigation is ongoing and further updates are awaited.
