One of the most accomplished jumpers seen in Australasia, Tallyho Twinkletoe enjoyed an exceptional career, winning 15 races and more than $667,000 in prizemoney under the training of Kevin Myers.
He became the first horse since 1930 to win Australia’s Grand National Hurdle (4200m) and Steeplechase in the same season. 'Albee' also won the Koral Steeplechase, just seven days before his New Zealand Grand National Steeplechase victory. He then took out the Australian Grand National Steeplechase just 21 days after his Australian Grand National Hurdle win.
Now aged 15, Albee lives with Tiffany Loasby and enjoys a varied life after racing. His days include beach outings, showjumping, clerking at trials, hunting, and leading Tiffany’s daughter on her pony around the farm.
