If you haven't seen Dan's latest film, go check it out! • Tone Deaf
I always jump at the chance to score a Dan TardisRescue EAP Productions film because Dan is awesome at things and so I push myself to match his awesomeness because if I don't then the music will bring the whole project down and I'll cry and he will laugh BUT THEN also cry because it's his video; rightly so, I think this is easily some of Dan's best work, and I have done my darndest to match his awesomeness with the quality of this score.
Though only 10 minutes or so in length, this music has taken so so much longer to compose and arrange, I really wanted to write the majority of the music myself and sprinkle some hints of more well-known themes here or there.
The whistles as punctuation for the music was always the cornerstone of the tone I wanted to achieve with the music, if you listen you can hear 'tip-too's throughout the score even when the whistles aren't blasting.
Though the majority of the composition is mine, I must give credit to Mike O'Donnell & Junior Campbell, Ty (SudrianAfro), and Robert Hartshorne, whose own creations helped to bolster my own. Ilkley Moor, a song which many a GWR footplateman have tip-too'ed to, was also an inspiration for one of the pieces.
I can't say I'm particularly pleased with this music video because I rushed like a madman to get it out in tandem with the film, but you're meant to be listening not seeing IF YOU WANT TO SEE SOMETHING, GO WATCH THE ACTUAL DAN'S VIDEO PLEASE IT'S MUCH BETTER BECAUSE HE USES STEAM EFFECTS FOR THE WHISTLES OKAY THANK YOU
Please don't use this music in your projects or videos, thanks very mu
