It doesn't really matter if the person at the helm of affairs in INEC is a professor, a medical doctor or a bureaucrat; what is needed is someone with competence that has been demonstrated in past engagements, transparent, does not belong to any party at night and courageous not to succumb to political powers. All the people nominated should go through an open screening process, where Nigerians will speak for or against their character
