Описание: The high court yesterday lifted the ban on the play "Shackles of Doom" by Butere Girls secondary school which had been slapped on grounds that it could ferment ethnic discord. In his ruling justice David Majanja ordered the state to meet the travelling and accommodation costs of the school drama team as it travels to Mombasa to stage the play during the ongoing secondary schools drama festivals. And as Chris Wang'ombe reports the latest development hopefully will put to rest a tussle that has played out in the courts and on stage.
