Описание: "It’s Not Me, It’s You" is our second project as @FIVE1TWOSOUND an R&B group coming out of Austin, Texas. After releasing DEMO TAPE a few months ago, we wanted to take everything further — sonically, emotionally, and conceptually. This time, we leaned fully into telling the story from our perspective, with all production and engineering handled in-house by @3DTHETEK.

This album is a concept piece built around a masculine, alpha-male mindset — not to glorify toxicity, but to be honest about it. We explore love when it’s complicated, ego when it gets in the way, and emotions that don’t always come out clean. These songs live in that space where you know how you feel, but you don’t always know how to say it — or if you even should.

The sound is smooth, dark, and intentional. Late-night R&B made for cruising, reflecting, and replaying. It’s emotional without begging, vulnerable without losing control. If you’re familiar with the moody, atmospheric feel of artists like PartyNextDoor, you’ll recognize the energy we’re tapping into — but we’re telling it our way, through our own lens.

It’s Not Me, It’s You isn’t about pointing fingers.
