This dualism is the root not only of fear, but of violence. "Ahimsa"—non-violence—is born not from a fear of punishment, but from the ecstatic realization: all is one. All is the dance. To harm another, to harm nature, to harm a living being, is to harm oneself. It is to fall out of step with the rhythm of the Cosmos.
