Lois Forsell | Sport Hall of Fame

Описание: We had the pleasure of speaking with alumna Lois Forsell at our Sport Hall of Fame. A BA (Hons) Sports Development graduate (2012) from Leeds Beckett University, Lois reflects on the support she received as a student athlete and how her time at the university helped shape her journey in Rugby League.

A former England international with 18 caps and two World Cup appearances, Lois enjoyed a successful playing career with Hunslet, Bradford Bulls and the Leeds Rhinos Women, including a historic treble with Bradford in 2017 and captaining Leeds Rhinos to Challenge Cup victory in their inaugural season.

Since retiring from playing, Lois has transitioned into coaching, becoming Head Coach of Leeds Rhinos Women in 2020 and progressing into the England pathway. In this interview, she shares how she continues to work closely with the Carnegie School of Sport, and why she remains proud to be part of Leeds Beckett’s sporting heritage.
