Ryanair - Not So Cheap Flight From Eindhoven To Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport

A not so cheap flight with Ryanair from Eindhoven to Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport in Italy. The price of the return ticket was 200+ euros and nothing was included, even not the selection of a seat. Actually, Ryanair had all its fares increased during the holiday season between Christmas and New Year. I think, Ryanair's fares were the same and even higher than those of legacy carriers.

Anyway, I have to say that Ryanair is pretty efficient in taking you from point A to point B. The fight was on time. It was operated with a Boeing 737-800. I didn't pay the extra seat selection charge of 7 euros per flight but I was automatically assigned a window seat by Ryanair's system. The crew was Italian and I think they did a pretty good job. What I really didn't like is the new luggage policy. Backpacks and small bags should be stored under the seat. The luggage bins are reserved for trolleys and Ryanair is charging you extra for a trolley. Ryanair also keeps advertising its 10 euro hot meals. I didn't see anybody ordering. So I think they don't manage to sell many of those.
