Eyewitness footage captured from a sailing boat shows wildfires engulfing forested and mountainous areas near Sweet Bay and Chance Harbour in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
Filmed on July 14 and July 16, 2025, the video reveals thick smoke, scorched landscapes, and advancing flames along the Atlantic coast.
The Chance Harbour wildfire remains at 1,200 hectares, with firefighting efforts ongoing. Several cabins have been destroyed and evacuations are underway.
