The strain relief on my old soldering iron broke recently. So in this video I used the flex from another soldering iron from the same manufacture to fix and upgrade the cable.
I bought the iron about 20 years from an electronics store in Dublin (Peats or Maplins). The iron is a XS25 from ANTEX (https://www.antex.co.uk/) and manufactured in the UK.
