I do not know the power-train nor drive-system specified on this bus. The operator - as do many others from my "Denver RTD: Bus Observations - PART 3" video; link: [https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&vide...] - are very courteous to offer rides for RTD employees from the main division to Union Station and other places within the range of where they are beginning their runs. This operator ask me "Where am I heading to?..." I reply, "Well... to Union Station but...", with no hesitation he said, "Hop-on". I couldn't turn down this opportunity.
These buses is limited to a cruising speed of no more than 25mph because of it's "Free MALLRide" service operating along a mixed-use 'pedestrian-bus' right-of-way, known as, "16th Street Mall". Several 'warp' sounding turbo spools do occur whilst coming to a stop.
