Mark's ventures include founding one of the nation's first, fully online music academies, viaAcademies (www.MakeMusicClick.com). Mark has over 15 years experience in online learning, virtual school management, educational technology and curriculum development. In this talk he makes a case for melding community and classroom for mutual benefit.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
