I set out from Silverton to hike the Soft Rock 100 route on August 4th, 2022. The idea is to hike the Hard Rock 100 course in a few days. I started with a few friends for the first 15 miles but was on my run the rest of the way after that.
We had a bad weather forecast, which materialized the first day, but improved after.
This course blew my mind in how relentless and steep it is. It's also insanely beautiful. Hopefully I'll be able to do the run some day.
