Описание: Somewhere between a mid-50s Ed Wood Z-grade monster movie and a beer-soaked beach party, Fruit Tones unleash “Creature From The Goon Lagoon” — a low-budget, delirious short directed by Sophie Barrott, soundtracked by two cuts from their new album Easy Peelers and packed with familiar Manchester underground faces. A few stray cans hit the swamp and wake up something old, ugly and thirsty. Out it crawls in pink silk, waving a glittered pistol and looking for more trouble. The party’s on the edge of collapse, and Sheriff K might be the only one dumb enough to try to stop it.
Part 50s creature feature, part spaghetti western, part sunburnt surf trash, the film follows a beer-drenched swamp monster on a late-night can hunt through a warped summer nightmare. The chaos runs on “Hands Up (At The Hold Up)” and “Didn’t Even Notice It Was Night” — real barroom danger and late-night paranoia twisted into sleazy, girl-group-meets-garage-punk stomp.
