Shadow arrives to the nest with a coot about 2.5 hours after Jackie laid her first egg of the 2nd clutch. Jackie was emitting her soft whining vocals but did not get up to claim the food. Shadow knew something was different with Jackie laying on the nest! He eats the coot and then feaks his beak on the branch - Jackie gets up and Shadow looks over his shoulder and sees that beautiful new white egg! ♥ Well done Jackie & Shadow! All those matings and the nest work has paid off! Shadow departs - he knows that things are going to change once again & he is ready! Thank you for watching!
