Iraq - Zhirinovsky shows solidarity with Saddam

Ultranationalist Russian politician Vladimir Zhrinovsky left Iraq on Monday (16/2), letting off a parting shot before departure by comparing American President Bill Clinton to Adolf Hitler for his part in threatening military strikes against Iraq.
Zhrinovsky has been in Baghdad since last Wednesday to show solidarity with Iraq in this latest standoff with the United States.
Before he left for Moscow, the Russian met with parents whose children are suffering under United Nations sanctions. They asked for his help in getting medicines and proper care for their children. Zhirinovsky offered to take some of the youngsters to Moscow.
