An informal sound comparison between Larsen "Il Canone" steel and Pirastro Olive gut A and D strings. Recording levels and settings are the same between the string sets. C and G strings are Olive gut medium gauge in both sets. Saddle Rider brand adjustable height saddle and wolf resonator to tension the strings properly on this modern cello and control frequency resonances.
