Wild West Tour, Day 2, Palm Springs to Laughlin. Riding Route 66 again!

Описание: We were up early, so a walk around Palm Springs before breakfast was in order. It’s a town that you really need a few days to visit. The sun coming up and hitting the mountains was a great sight! After breakfast we rode through the Joshua Tree National Park. Even though we have ridden in the park before, the way we went through the park meant we saw so much more. We eventually turned on to Route 66, a road that we have travelled before. The rest of the group stopped at Roy's Motel & Café, a place we love, but we headed to The Road Runner's Retreat. I wanted to see what the newly renovated sign looked like and I wasn’t disappointed! After a brief stop for photos we headed back to Roy’s and to the rest of the group. The ride from there to Laughlin should have been about an hour but due to the road being closed for a while it meant we got into the hotel a bit later than planned. Another great day on the mother road! Can’t wait till the morning to see what the next day on this tour brings.
