This BEGINNER 20min yoga class is designed specifically for weightlifters as a cool-down and recovery stretch but anyone can benefit... even after a day at the desk! Whether you just finished a heavy push/pull session, or any upper body workout, this slow and intentional practice will help release tension, restore mobility, and support recovery.
With over 10 years of experience in weightlifting alongside teaching yoga, I created this class with lifters in mind — especially those who may be new to yoga. The class moves at a steady, accessible pace and includes clear cues, options, and alignment tips so you can feel confident and supported on the mat.
This practice focuses on:
Chest and front body opening
Bicep and tricep stretching
Upper back, lats, and neck tension
Gentle mobility and flexibility
Nervous system relaxation after intense training
No prior yoga experience is required. You’re encouraged to move at your own pace, modify as needed, and let your breath guide each stretch.
