👩🍳 Ingredients:
Kollu (Horse gram) – ½ cup
Tamarind – small lemon-sized
Tomato – 1 (chopped)
Garlic – 6 to 8 pods
Black pepper – 1 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Red chillies – 2
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Hing (Asafoetida) – a pinch
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Jaggery – a small pinch
Salt – as required
Oil – 2 tsp
Coriander leaves – for garnish

🔥 Preparation Method:
1️⃣ Soak and pressure cook kollu for 4–5 whistles.
2️⃣ Powder pepper, cumin, red chillies. Grind coarsely with garlic.
3️⃣ Heat oil, add mustard, curry leaves. Sauté well.
4️⃣ Add tamarind extract, salt, and the ground masala. Pour cooked kollu water.
5️⃣ Boil until frothy and garnish with coriander leaves.
