The 33-year-old high-flyer, real name Jonathan Solofa Fatu, was travelling with his wife and fellow SmackDown performer Naomi when they pulled over in Detroit, Michigan.

TMZ claim police stopped them after spotting Naomi driving the wrong way down a one-way street.

And Uso’s fury led to an officer reaching for his taser as he “squared up like he wanted a fight”.

The TMZ site reports: “According to our police sources, cops say their 2018 Dodge Journey reeked of booze … so they ordered Naomi out of the car.

“We’re told while Naomi talked to cops, Jimmy got out of the car — despite commands from police — and took off his shirt and jacket and squared up like he wanted to fight.

“We’re told the officer took out his taser cause he was scared for his safety.

“Jimmy ultimately settled down and complied with their commands … was handcuffed, and arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction.

“He was taken to jail … and later posted bond. Uso was not in Detroit for a WWE event.”

Jimmy and his twin brother Jey, The Usos, are one of the most-popular tag-teams in WWE.

They are set to battle Shane McMahon and The Miz at Elimination Chamber on Sunday for the SmackDown Live tag belts.

Naomi, real name Trinity Fatu, married Jimmy in Maui on January 16, 2014.

Through their marriage, she is a member of the Anoaʻi family, a renowned Samoan-American wrestling dynasty, which including WWE legends such as The Rock, Roman Reigns, Rikishi and Yokozuna.

The couple resides in Pensacola, Florida.

Naomi is vying for her own tag team history at Sunday’s pay-perview when she teams with Carmella.

They battle Nia Jax and Tamina, The Riott Squad, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, The IIconics plus Sasha Banks and Bayley inside the Elimination Chamber to try and became the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
