A Burnt Electrical Smell Inside the Home

Описание: In this video we got out to a new customer's house with a 4 ton Goodman split system heat pump that is not heating. Outdoor unit was running, but the indoor unit was producing no air. It was in the teens outside with wind chills below zero. The weather was scheduled to drop down to 5 degrees that night, so the customer was worried about not having heat in their home. Luckily, I stock these OEM Goodman boards in my van because I work on lots of Goodman units where I live and operate my business.
On a side note, as homeowner or even a renter, one should always have some backup heat sources during the winter months. I always advise having a couple different methods of heating your home in the event your central heat and air goes out. Even new units can fail and parts aren't always available when you might need them.
