Mutation Description: "Sgt. Hammer's Fortress is under siege. Determined to shatter its defenses, Amon shielding his minions from damage and resurrecting them in entirely new bodies upon death. Do whatever it takes to stop their assault."

Mutators:

Transmutation - Enemy units have a chance to transform into more powerful units whenever they deal damage.

Barrier - Enemy units gain a temporary shield upon the first time they take damage.

Special Notes: P1

Commander: Alarak
Prestige: Artificer of Souls (P1)

Advantages:
-When a supplicant dies, it increases the damage and attack speed of one of Alarak's nearby non-heroic mechanical combat units.

Disadvantages:
-Deadly Charge and Destruction Wave damage reduced by 50%.

Masteries: 30 Combat Unit Attack Speed, 30 Death Fleet Cooldown, 30 Structure Overcharge Shield and Attack Speed

Enemy Composition: Disruptive Artillery

Kimmo's Notes: Believe it or not, I ended up doing this run twice. One before I did P2 and this one was after the P2 run. The difference between the first P1 run was that I stopped making Wrathwalkers in order to make Ascendants.

The transition into Ascendants doesn't work so well on this map due to the highly accelerated pace compared to other, more slower maps. Pure Wrathwalker is better in order to replace inevitable losses on a few here and there and Ascendants are not required to power up your Wrathwalkers. Simply attacking Alarak and making him sacrifice Supplicants can work just as fine, if you have the mineral bank to replace the Supplicants instantly.

The run here was much more difficult than it looked. Against Disruptive Artillery, there are many units that can transition into Hybrids very quickly because of their high burst damage which can lead to longer fights. Longer fights normally do not favor P1 Alarak as Alarak isn't one of the primary damage options when using this prestige. Thankfully, he still has the ability to zone enemies away from his army, no matter what the enemies are.

If your first four Wrathwalkers get taken down because of bad Transmutation luck, just load up another run. It is not worth playing it out. And I had many runs end because of bad luck with Transmutation. I'm noticing that P1 and P2 are more RNG dependent since his early-game options for dealing with sudden contingencies that arise are much more limited. P1 hampers Alarak's ability to deal with early-game armies on his own. And P2 eliminates the Death Fleet entirely as an option to deal with a threat if Alarak is out of position or additional damage as the crux of the army is building up.

How it might play out with P0 and P3, though, that remains to be seen.
