Описание: Amun or Amen is the god of all gods in ancient Egypt. Amun rose to become the patron of the Theban kings and was eventually combined with the sun god Ra to become Amun-Ra, King of the Gods and the ruler of the Great Ennead.
Amun’s name means the “Hidden One" or the "Mysterious of Form.” whose identity can never be revealed.
The Greeks thought he was an Egyptian manifestation of their god Zeus.
Many hymns and prayers to Amun have been discovered throughout Egypt. These texts contain sublime ideas and spiritual approaches that address humans regardless of their age, ethnicity, color, or faith. The following are three documented ancient Egyptian hymns and prayers. I believe they are as relevant to us in our modern age as they were to the ancient Egyptians.
