Raisin Making Process Part 1
Grape Harvesting to Drying Period
1) Harvesting :
Bunches of uniform size and color should be plucked from the garden.
The size and maturity of the beads should be uniform.
The sugar content of grapes should be 20 to 22 Brix.
2) Dipping Process :
• How should the dipping oil be?
Triple filtered, completely transparent dipping oil free from any impurities.
completely soluble in water; Like Cold Dip Active without yellowing of oil on water.
3) Placing the goods on the Rack
4) Sparys
Spray 1st : 1 kg 600 g of potassium carbonate in 100 liters of water, 1200 ml of dipping oil along with 200 ml of organic liquid sulfur or Protex-L should be used.
Spray 2 nd: 800 g of potassium carbonate, 600 ml of dipping oil along with 200 ml of organic liquid sulfur or Protex-L should be used in 100 liters of water.
