In an in-depth conversation, Wang talks about how special it was to be part of a wonderfully diverse cast, the genuine friendship he developed with co-star Bloom Li, and working with director Jingyi Shao. He says he didn't know much about basketball before this project, but "gets it" now. He also discusses his musical background, as he was trained in musical theater and is part of a production that will potentially have a run on Broadway.
Wang is also set to star in the highly anticipated DIsney+ series American Born Chinese with Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, and Daniel Wu, with Destin Daniel Cretton directing. He talks about working with such incredible trailblazers and what he took away from the experience.
