My decision to upgrade from the Mostly Printed CNC (MPCNC) to the PrintNC CNC. While I found the MPCNC to be a fun, capable and affordable project, I wanted to be able to cut large projects and have a more rigid machine. The PrintNC CNC fit that requirement. Using rectangular tube steel for the frame and gantry, ball screws and linear guides, the rigidity and accuracy should surpass the MPCNC. Follow along and watch my build.
