After the commencement of commercial operations of the Lagos Blue line rail, which is the first mass transit train or metro rail in Lagos, lagosians and Nigerians are anticipating the Lagos Red Line rail which is going to be a game-changer in the transportation landscape of Nigeria's most populous city.
Spanning approximately 37 kilometers, this transformative initiative connects various neighborhoods, businesses, and communities along its route. Presently the first phase of the project in nearing completion and it is slated to start operations by December 2023, among the pivotal stops on its route are Oyingbo Train station, Yaba Train Station, Mushin Train Station, Oshodi Train Station, Ikeja Train Station, Agege Train Station, Iju Train Station and Agbado train stations.
In this video, we are going to be taking a look at the different stages of construction of all the train stations to see if the December deadline is possible as we have just a month to go also we are going to be exploring the significance of each of these stations to see how they will contributing to the development of Lagos and the level of work achieved so far.
