Acid free tissue paper is the easiest way to store your veil before the big day. Folding it like this also prevents wrinkles! This is how I ship all of my wedding veils.
Believe it or not, the key to keeping your wedding veil and accessories pristine are to start BEFORE you even wear it! Make sure to keep your dress and veil in a protective bag (for example, as shown at https://oneblushingbride.net/products...)
To store and protect your veil, slip the veil over any hanger and fold it crosswise, smoothing out any wrinkles. Once you have properly hung your veil, place it inside a protective garment bag to shield it from entangling with other items in your closet and to prevent your beloved dog or cat from thinking that you have bought them a new toy! :) Store in a cool, dry place that is away from direct sunlight.
