Will this $300 Yamaha R6 Run? - Part 1

Описание: Today I'm sharing a new motorcycle project I'm currently working on.
The legendary first generation Yamaha R6. This gen ran from 1999-2002.
It was still carbureted back then
I was able to get my hands a 2000 R6 from a friend.
He had one sitting in his backyard for years. He sold it to me for a great deal.
I paid $300US ($400CAD) I'm very grateful for that. He was just happy it was going to me and it wasn't just sitting any longer. I have no clue if it runs or not, as there is a lot of weather damage. It was covered with a tarp at times but there is clear wear on a lot of things.
I will do my best and restore this bike. I'm going to give it a new colorway with new fairings and paint the tank as well. (It will no longer be blue)
I plan to learn a lot of things during the process.
