Learn how to conjugate verbs that end with ㄷ. There are a lot of exceptions unfortunately so you'll have to practice a little harder!

Change ㄷ 받침 to a ㄹ
듣다 - ㄷ + ㄹ + 어요. = 들어요 listen
걷다 - ㄷ + ㄹ + 어요. = 걸어요 walk
싣다 - ㄷ + ㄹ + 어요 = 실어요 load
But if the next sound starts with a consonant, you don't need to substitute the ㄷ for anything.
듣다 + 습니다 = 듣습니다
걷다 + 습니다 = 걷습니다
싣다 + 습니다 = 싣습니다

This irregular verb has lots of variations, but if you read enough Korean you can figure it out eventually!
