Sleep and Development: A Parents’ Guide to How Sleep Evolves Across Childhood
SUMMARY: This webinar helps parents and caregivers better understand how sleep develops from infancy through adolescence, and why it plays such a vital role in children’s health and development. We take a close look at how sleep is regulated, the importance of both quality and quantity, and what sleep patterns look like at different ages.
The webinar also discusses common sleep challenges experienced by neurotypical and neurodivergent children, and how to identify when sleep issues may be cause for concern. Attendees learn practical skills that can be implemented at home to help monitor their children’s sleep quality, and gain insight on when it may be time to seek professional support.
