Hi and thanks for being here! My name is Anna Bolette, I am a health and wellness enthusiast living in Denmark, where I teach movement and Bowspring in person and online through my platform Anna Bolette Yoga.
I had the great pleasure to get to spend time, breathe, talk and laugh with James Nestor when he visited Copenhagen in September 2021.
James Nestor is the author of the book “Breath: the New Science of a Lost Art” which has just been translated into Danish and is available in bookstores. I highly recommend this book to anyone who breathes. This book should be under every Christmas tree in Denmark this year!
James Nestor and I spent a couple of hours in beautiful surroundings at Toldboden Restaurant with the sky providing James Nestor of a dramatic show of colors and light throughout our conversation.
James Nestor graciously shared from his wealth of knowledge from years of research and interviews with scientists, dentists, and other breathing experts. And although this book is not a memoir, but about the Science of a Lost Art, it is still personal in a way that makes the information very relatable and applicable.
I am is curious about topics related to health, spirituality, and personal growth. I am humbled to be on a lifelong mind-body studentship journey and to have the opportunity to pass forward the wisdom and experience that exists in our global community of writers, teachers and practitioners. Thank you to Wiboltts Forlag for arranging this meeting and interview and for making James Nestor’s book available to the Danes.
