Cheyenne was diagnosed with an extra of both chromosome 8 and 9 while in utero. Doctors believed she would not survive birth. Cheyenne is now almost 3 years old and is progressing in ways previously thought to be impossible. Although she is currently nonverbal, we easily connected and formed a friendship.
Cheyenne's diagnoses include Trisomy 8, Trisomy 9, hydrocephalus, failure to thrive, club feet and low muscle tone.
