Powerhouse Geelong was a groundbreaking project and industrial street art space, located in North Geelong. The power station had been empty since it was abandoned 45 years ago. The art space included a 3000sqm building, sat on 6 acres of land and was Australia’s largest indoor legal space to create ephemeral street art. The curator of this exciting project was Ian Ballis. Now generally off-limits to the public.
The project Later moved to another location in central Geelong but does not seem to be continuing. The original website still exists:
