It consists of chicken pieces cooked in water and the resulting chicken stock; the dumplings are cooked by boiling. The dumplings can be a biscuit, or a pie dough type and they can be rolled into a ball, flattened, cut into shapes and dropped into a simmering liquid. You can get 6 to 8 servings from this recipe.
