Recently, I’ve been using pork quite often,
so today I chose chicken for this bowl 🍲
Chicken pairs well with a hearty miso soup,
especially when it’s filled with vegetables.
For this soup, I used classic winter root vegetables,
slowly simmered until tender.
The broth becomes gentle and comforting,
with a balance that feels easy to enjoy at the end of the day 🌙
This is an ordinary bowl of miso soup,
served at an ordinary home table in Tokyo 🏠

Carrot
Burdock root (gobo)
Maitake mushrooms
Chicken thigh
Dashi pack
Sake
Miso
500 ml water 💧
