A Historical Mac & Cheese recipe from the 19th century | Cinematic Cooking ASMR | Relaxing

Описание: Tonight I am making one of the most comforting meals, Mac and cheese. I found this recipe in the book 'The Experienced Housekeeper' by Mrs. Elizabeth Raffald.
This is one of the earliest recipes that mentioned macaroni dressed in cream and cheese. I hope you like it as I did!


Ingredients:
250 grams of macaroni
300 ml of cream
50 grams of butter rolled in flour
200 grams of Parmesan cheese
nutmeg and paprika

Instructions:
Boil the macaroni till tender
Combine the cream, butter and half of the cheese then add the macaroni
Boil for 5 minutes
Lay over it the remaining cheese and bake until golden brown
