Buried Under the Rubble: The Heartbreaking Story of a Homeless Grandmother

Описание: Susan is a nomadic and homeless grandmother who endures a very hard and exhausting life. After many efforts, she managed to stay for just one day in a shelter she had found with great difficulty; however, this shelter was not a hut, but a cave dug by humans into a hillside. Early this morning, when the operator arrived with some firewood and was standing in front of the shelter, he suddenly heard a man’s scream. Deeply worried and anxious, he quickly rushed toward the cave and witnessed a horrifying scene: the cave had collapsed on Susan. It was clear that she had tried to escape, but at the entrance of the cave she was struck by the falling debris and became trapped under wooden planks and mud.
At that moment, a kind man appeared who had heard the sound of the collapse and Susan’s cries from afar and had hurried there to help. The operator, unable to do much alone, worked together with the kind man to remove the planks and mud from Susan. To give her strength, they gave her water mixed with sugar. Susan said that a plank had fallen on her head and legs, but fortunately there was no serious cause for concern.
The kind-hearted man then lit a fire for her and made some tea, while Susan’s belongings were completely covered in mud. He gently told her that she must leave that place because it could collapse again and her life might be in danger. With kindness, the man carried her belongings outside and helped her out, then said goodbye and left. The operator carried Susan’s blanket and bag, and together they set off on their journey with one main goal: to find a safe hut and a secure shelter.
