The movie was supposed to pay tribute to the beauty and style that defined disney for the past 100 years, only for it to turn out to be the worst rated movie in 2 decades.

The plot was weak, didn't have a lot of likable characters, the villain was kind of random sometimes even more likable than the actual protagonist, humor didn't land, the songs were meh for the most part, and the payoff at the end of the movie just wasn't there. In Other Words, the movie Disney chose to create for their 100th anniversary was a cheap, poorly written knockoff of tangled.
