News Corp Columnist Angela Mollard discusses Princess Catherine’s absence at Royal Ascot as she reportedly withdrew her appearance hours before.
“All the media were expecting her to be here, but this shows how dynamic her life is at the moment,” Ms Mollard told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“It’s a whole strategic exercise for her to go out.
“Yes, she has passed through her cancer battle, but that doesn’t mean that that re-evaluation of what is balanced in her life is still not an ongoing feature for her.
“The attention that that requires would be mentally really demanding.
“We’ve got to expect that this is going to happen.”
