THE ORANGE ZEST COOKIE RECIPE

Ingredients:
1 Egg
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
1 Cup Vegetable Oil
1 Packet Vanilla Sugar (or 1 tsp Vanilla Extract)
Zest of 1 Large Orange (or equivalent frozen zest)
1 Packet Baking Powder
Approx. 3 Cups + 1 Tablespoon All-Purpose Flour (add slowly until dough is soft and non-sticky)
Extra Granulated Sugar for coating
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) for at least 5 minutes.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine egg, powdered sugar, oil, vanilla, and orange zest. Whisk well.
3. Add baking powder and 1 cup of flour. Continue adding flour slowly until the dough is soft and doesn't stick to your hands.
4. Knead briefly, then shape into a long cylinder.
5. Cut the cylinder into 20 equal pieces and roll into balls.
6. Coat each ball generously in granulated sugar.
