Kerala & Tamil Nadu CMs Write To PM To Withdraw IAS Amends; 8 States Against Changes In Cadre Rules

Описание: As per breaking inputs coming in on Mirror Now, the proposed amendments to the IAS Cadre rules continues to be a flashpoint between states and the Central government. More states oppose the amendments including two more Chief Ministers of Kerala & Tamil Nadu have written to the Prime Minister asking him to withdraw this proposal. So far, eight states have already opposed the Centre's amends including Bihar, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh. Reportedly, the amendment allows the Union government to posy IAS officers on central deputation, thereby, enabling them to bypass state governments.
